Who can be hypnotized? Nearly everyone can be hypnotized provided they have the mental reasoning power to follow a suggestion. In that case, a professional hypnotherapist will either ask questions to ally your apprehensions or perhaps suggest another hypnotherapist with whom you may feel more rapport. There are some neurological conditions which may present extenuating circumstances, in the case of a diagnosis of bi polar disorder, schizophrenia or seizure disorder, hypnosis may be used under the advice of a physician/psychiatrist.
