Who can be hypnotized?
Nearly everyone can be hypnotized provided they have the mental reasoning power to follow a suggestion. It also important that they want to be hypnotized by that therapist at that time. If you feel uncomfortable with the process or even the therapist, chances are that you won’t relaxed enough to be hypnotized. In that case, a professional hypnotherapist will either ask questions to ally your apprehensions or perhaps suggest another hypnotherapist with whom you may feel more rapport. Your emotional comfort is the prime objective.
There are some neurological conditions which may present extenuating circumstances, in the case of a diagnosis of bi polar disorder, schizophrenia or seizure disorder, hypnosis may be used under the advice of a physician/psychiatrist.

Will I cluck like a chicken?
Not unless you really want to! In other words,
no one can make you do what you don’t want to do, not even under hypnosis. This fact was proven in the early 1800’s when Dr. Anton Mesmer was tried for allegations of sexual misconduct by the French College of Sciences. Dr. Benjamin Franklin, as the United States Ambassador to France, sat on that panel and they agreed that if any improprieties had occurred, it was consensual.
